About us
A community partner since 2017
We are the community development arm of the Church of the Living God, Temple #230, working to lift up families across South Phoenix.
Our mission
To create growth and economic empowerment in underserved communities by providing services in health and wellness, education, and financial literacy.
Our vision
To be a deliberate and obvious leader in meeting the needs of underserved communities in the South Mountain area and beyond.
Our story
Born from a church that wanted to do more
In 2017, the Church of the Living God, Christian Workers for Fellowship (CWFF), Temple #230 formed the Church of the Living God Community Development Corporation. The goal was simple: turn faith into practical help for the people who live and work around us.
Since then, COLG CDC has hosted community forums and free workshops on budgeting, credit, taxes, estate planning, and career readiness, working alongside local banks and community partners.
Today we are relaunching with renewed focus, new partners, and a plan to reach more families in person, online, and everywhere in between.
